Holly Borrelli

Director/Choreographer/Writer

Holly Borrelli is a recent graduate from Florida State University and earned a dual degree in dance and finance. She trained in ballet and contemporary under esteemed faculty members, including  Kara Wilkes, Jawole Zollar, Suzanne Farrell, Ilana Goldman, Tim Glenn, Caleb Mitchell, and Meagan Helman. Additionally, Borrelli danced with The Tallahassee Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member for two seasons and is now a guest choreographer for the company. As a company member, she performed in Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, excerpts of Swan Lake, and various contemporary works.

 

While at FSU, Borrelli discovered her true passion for choreography and storytelling through movement. She presented choreographic works at FSU's Days of Dance 2024 and FSU's Festival of Creative Arts 2025. At the Tallahassee Ballet, Borrelli set choreographic works for the company's 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, including her most recent works Outside In and Solitude.​ She was awarded the Anthony Morgan Undergraduate Choreographic Award in Dance in 2025. Recently, Borrelli was the choreographer for the National Performing Arts Funding Exchange's Proof-of-Concept video for their Arc and Sound of Dance docuseries. She will also be presenting her first full-length evening production, Floor 13, in NYC in the fall of 2026.

In order to combine her experience in dance and finance, Borrelli worked in various arts administration capacities at The Joffrey Ballet School.  She was a Resident Advisor for Joffrey's NYC summer intensives in 2023, the Residence Hall Coordinator in summer 2024, and the Accounting/Operations Intern for spring 2025. Now, Borrelli works full-time as the Accounting Associate for Joffrey Ballet School.

Jacob Grice

Composer

Jacob Grice is a composer, violist, and teacher based in Tallahassee, FL. He is currently studying for a doctoral degree in music composition and theory at Florida State University under Dr. Eren Gümrükçüoğlu. He received his master’s degree in composition from Florida State, studying under Dr. Liliya Ugay and Dr. Clifton Callender. He also received a bachelor’s degree in viola performance under Dr. Jacqueline Skara and Dr. Laura Talbott-Clark as well as a minor in music composition and theory under Dr. Igor Karaca from Oklahoma State University. Jacob enjoys all things new music, teaching lessons, and playing viola in ensembles such as the Polymorphia New Music Ensemble and in the music ministry at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More. He also plays with symphonies such as Symphonia Gulf Coast, Panama City Symphony Orchestra, and the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. His music has received several premieres by ensembles such as the Tallahassee Ballet Company, Polymorphia New Music Ensemble, the Aurum Acer
Duo, the Cawthon String Orchestra, the Frontiers New Music Ensemble, and the Oklahoma State Symphony Orchestra. He also frequently collaborates with music and dance students at FSU, where his music can frequently be heard in students’ performances.

Gemma Leary

Rehearsal Director

Gemma Leary is a New York City–based dancer and emerging choreographer whose work blends technical rigor with bold movement invention. She holds a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship from Florida State University. At FSU, her artistic voice was shaped by formative collaborations with Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Peter Chu, Gwen Welliver, and Ilana Goldman. Her original works have been presented in FSU’s Days of Dance, ACDA, and NYC festivals including The Craft, Studio to Stage, and the Young Choreographer’s Festival. Her piece, Organized Chaos, earned the Anthony Morgan Undergraduate Choreographic Award for its striking composition and conceptual depth. Gemma’s artistry is defined by her fusion of technicality and musical movement exploration.

Jessica Cassette

Creative Consultant

Jessica Cassette is a dancer, choreographer, and dance filmmaker whose work currently lives at the intersection of performance and human movement science. She received her BFA in Dance from Florida State University where she had the opportunity to train with Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Ilana Goldman, Kehinde Ishangi, Tim Glenn, Kara Wilkes, Caleb Mitchell, Linda Davis, and Rachel Hunter.
She has created dance films in Paris (France), New York (New York), Tallahassee (Florida), and Jacksonville (Florida) with premieres at the American College Dance Association Film Festival in 2023. Currently based in New York, she continues to train and create while pursuing a Master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research explores the role of modifiable lifestyle factors in neurovascular aging and cognitive performance, with a particular interest in dance as a therapeutic and preventative intervention for specific health populations.

Makenna Zelenak

Creative Consultant

Makenna Zelenak (she/her) grew up in Northeast Ohio but currently resides in NYC. She graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Child/Family Development. Makenna grew up training at the Meneer School of Dance and performed in pre-professional productions with the Ballet Theatre of Ohio from age four up until high school graduation. In college, she was a part of the University of Akron Dance Company and directed shows for the Terpsichore Dance Club. She currently works at the Joffrey Ballet School in ResLife, Admin, and teaches for the Children and Youth Program as well. Makenna has a lifelong passion for dance and is freelancing as a professional dancer in and around the NYC area.

Lizzy Mineau

Development Advisor

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Mineau is a dancer, administrator, and teaching artist currently based in New York City. She began dancing at the age of three studying ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz. Lizzy is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Arts Management at the University of Oklahoma and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a minor in Communications, from Florida State University. Alongside her time at FSU, Lizzy was a corps de ballet dancer at The Tallahassee Ballet for three seasons. With the Tallahassee Ballet she performed soloist roles including Princess Florentine in Sleeping Beauty, Marzipan lead in The Nutcracker, and Spanish lead in The Nutcracker. Lizzy joined Amanda Selwyn Dance Theater/Notes in Motion as an administrative intern in January 2025 and now serves as a Program Assistant. She is also a passionate dance educator and worked as a teaching artist for Notes in Motion, Dreamworks Dance Academy, and Miss Libby’s School of Dance.

Margaux Guillet

Digital Design Consultant

As an interdisciplinary designer, Margaux's work is grounded in enriching human experiences and crafting compelling stories. With a degree from University of Washington's design program, she has a keen understanding of executing both physical and digital work. Her approach involves curiosity, experimentation, and collabration with other creative disciplines.
